  2. I'm REALLY disappointed that the Preference AND Frenquency XR Torics are discontinued. These are the only lenses that really worked well, and were comfortable, in my eyes. My eye doctor gave me a trial pair of the Proclear Torics and they are horrible. Can't see a thing, keep having to cock my head to the side because my eyes are so blurry when trying to focus on reading in the computer--plus they dry out something awful. UGH. NOT happy!! Wish they would bring back the Frequency XR Torics or the Preference Torics. NEW ISN'T ALWAYS BETTER!!

    1. I am having the same issue. Been trialing different lenses and I am miserable. The Preference were EXCELLENT lenses. Were you ever able to find them anywhere or did you have luck finding a replacement? I was told to try Hydrasoft?

  4. Hello,
I see cooper vision discontinued the avaira. What is the difference between the old and the new avaira? I really had good luck with the old style.

    1. The new Avaira Vitality is made from a new material (fanfilcon A) which has a higher oxygen transmission, higher water content, and more UV protection than the original Avaira. According to CooperVision "When surveyed, the majority of patients rated Avaira Vitality as the strongly preferred choice versus Avaira by 15:1 across a range of key criteria including comfort, dryness, handling and vision. In the survey, 94% of those wearers also said they would be likely to switch from Avaira to Avaira Vitality." https://coopervision.com/our-company/news-center/press-release/coopervision-unveils-avaira-vitality-sphere-and-toric-two

  5. Long time Frequency 55 Toric user . Easy take out and put in and very comfortable.. I was shocked to learn they are no longer available. My Dr. gave me to sets of Proclear torics and have ripped 2 lenses so far. This never happens with the frequency. What do you reccommend as a replacement?
